Abstract Art Lets Everyone Paint

Abstract art asks us how do we feel and what can we see when form is lost to us and the physical world is locked away."That's not art!", can be heard throughout the museum. But those voices couldn't be more wrong. Abstract art seems to be very unappreciated in some circles. People think that it's a bunch of random paint slung about for no reason. When they look at abstract art they say to themselves or someone standing nearby, "It looks like I could of painted it with my eyes closed." If it's true that there are concepts of existence that words can't express, is it not also true that a portrait, landscape, or still life painting lacks the ability to sum up every thought and feeling for the world to see. If Abstract Art cannot fit into the rigid parameters of the art world, we lose so much. You lose so much. You lose the artist in everyone.
